Important Updating Required for TC-1

Critical Update Information:

This is an excellent chance for you to do a complete update.

The chance that you'll use all enhancements in the latest release is limited. The risk is also little, so taking care of all and small fixes is really opportune. This suggested update involves no code changes to core functions or rules engines. The main repair deals with critical time accuracy.

Must you do a complete update? - NO!

The energy bill signed into law in 2005 extends Daylight Saving Time by about a month, beginning in 2007. Under the new law, "spring forward 2007" will occur earlier than usual - Sunday, March 11th. In order for the TC-1 Clocks to function properly - and reflect current local time - all servers must receive the Microsoft patches and install certain TC-1 revisions / patches as well.

Microsoft has made the following URL available to address this problem.

http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=928388

We will be providing you with instructions on how to obtain all needed corrections by March 1. It will be your choice to do a complete update (recommended) or just the patches.

Our clients say..
"TC-1 addresses our unique work rules. Overtime for the payroll staff and for the people actually inputting it has drastically gone down. Processing time at our largest station is reduced by at least one day a week."
