Providing Superior Customer Service is the "Norm" at Datamatics
FORDS, NJ, March 27, 2008 - Datamatics Management Services Inc., a leading provider of labor management services, has always had the mission of delivering superior customer service. But when its company CEO, Norm Heinle reaches out to save a client that is in "crisis mode" as he did in the case of Auditory Oral School in Brooklyn, New York, it is clear that this mission is being practiced at all levels of Datamatics' organization.
Auditory School, a premier facility with 140 employees that provides oral-auditory educational programs to hearing-impaired and deaf children in New York City, was having considerable difficulties with their two HandPunch 3000's. As their Director noted, "Our employees walked up to the HandPunch and their hands weren't being recognized." This prompted them to write a letter to Datamatics that described their situation as "HandPunch misery".
With its client-centric focus, Datamatics did not shy away from the problem, but rather, embraced the challenge. In fact, upon receiving this letter, Datamatics' President Norm Heinle immediately called and scheduled a visit with the Auditory Oral School at their Brooklyn facility. Within one week, he examined their HandPunches, discovered the cause of the problem and then had Datamatics revise its system to allow management control over the images that the HandPunch creates. Datamatics revised the TC-1 labor management software to allow the Handpunches to function separately, which eliminated the problem of inaccurate reads.
The results were immediate and they allowed the Auditory Oral School to go back to using its HandPunches in conjunction with the TC-1 system. This time and attendance solution allows them to schedule work more efficiently for their 140 employees, resulting in a significant cost savings. However, what impressed AOSNY's administration the most was the way in which Norm Heinle responded to their breakdown. "Norm Heinle was very receptive to getting things done. He stood behind his product and made it clear that Datamatics does not run away from a problem," commented AOSNY administration.
With a company President that is willing to go to such great lengths to resolve a client issue, it is no wonder why it is the "Norm" for Datamatics to receive such positive feedback from their clients.
