Do I have to use a specific payroll service bureau or in-house software?


TC-1™ can integrate with either a payroll service bureau or in-house software package. The system easily handles different pay rates for different shifts, tasks or assignments. For example, a day-shift employee who is temporarily working the evening shift will be paid at the evening shift rate, if that is what you instruct the system to do. TC-1™ automatically:
  • Computes time-and-a-half, double-time, etc.

  • Pays employees only within the rules set

  • Handles different rules for different shifts
With TC-1™, preparation of data for integration with payroll and other business applications is simple and easy. Listed below is a partial list of payroll applications that can be integrated with TC-1™:

What kind or reports can TC-1™ generate?


Virtually any labor-related data about any employee or their applied time can be accessed immediately through TC-1™'s report writer. Find out information like:

Contents of employee master files including performance and adherence to labor policies is easily reported and approved by management. Reports can be stored individually or enterprise-wide and can include key management information such as tardiness and absenteeism details, projected overtime expenditures, benefit entitlements, job cost analysis and FMLA status. Management can determine what labor costs will be, as well as how much labor has been applied by any department, project, location or user-definable nomenclature.

TC-1™'s network utility and data integrity/roll back features allow multiple users to access all programs and maintain security access in centralized and decentralized environments. System functionality allows for the posting of all time (including overtime) to a department, job or project and provides the ability to post nonproductive time to indirect accounts. Upon completion of a job, time may be distributed automatically, charged towards breaks or deducted from a particular job or function. If management desires, downtime can be accounted for as well. Security restrictions are available so that only employees with the required authorization level can edit displayed or calculated data. Exempt and non-exempt employees can report time against jobs or projects from any PC or workstation from around the world.
